My sister ended her job training on Tuesday and stayed with us in Matsumoto for 2 nights.
On Friday, my husband drove us to Tokyo Disneyland.
We woke up really early at 530am that day and managed to reach our hotel at 1030am.

There was a shuttle bus from the hotel which departs every five minutes to Disneyland.
Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating Halloween season now till October 31st.

Halloween has become very popular in Japan recently, the park settings and attractions were all decorated with Halloween stuff.
Even the confectionery sold was related to the occasion.

We thought that the park wouldn`t be too packed on a weekday, but we were wrong.
It was very crowded!

Tokyo Disneyland is the place where our childhood dreams and fantasies come true.
You can imagine the number of photos we took throughout the day - too many to post.

The first thing we did was grab a FastPass at the Haunted Mansion.
A FastPass allows you to avoid the queues and come back later during a designated time. We took our pass at 1pm and our designated time was 620pm!
On the way, we met Mary Poppins! Say Cheese..

The Haunted Mansion was very interesting for the atmosphere it created.
It was not spooky at all. Set inside a haunted house, we sit inside a ghost train with Halloween theme setting that goes through all the rooms.

My favourite room was the banquet hall with ghost couples dancing around with eerie music playing.

Besides the attractions,we also enjoyed the special Halloween gala parade ` Scream and Shout`.
Crowds started lining up at least an hour before along the parade route.
This giant Halloween party featured the Disney characters, wearing their favorite pumpkin suits.

There was also plenty of light-hearted screaming, laughter with sexy and cute dancers wooing the crowd.

The crowd was really enthusiastic singing and dancing with their favourite Disney characters.

Everyone including us who never celebrated Halloween in our lives went crazy in the Halloween mood.
This is the power of Disney fantasy.

The evening Disneyland Electrical Parade which was said to have over 1 million sparkling lights, was spectacular.

We were drawn into a magical world with all the well-loved Disney characters and princesses on the dazzling floats.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND :
Alice and Cheshire Cat

Ladybug

CINDERELLA: Swans
The 30 mins parade was truly amazing.

FINALE: The Sun
Disney sea was next door but we didn`t have time to check it out. We are definitely planning to head back to visit it.
WE LOVE DISNEY!
